Thanks for the update...
I did called today...got the same response..
Your PR card has been mailed yesterday something like that. Expecting the PR should be received by earlier next week.

Hi Manohar Reddy 22 - What is the number to call and check the status of PR Card Renewal? we tried getting status via online, no luck yet. We applied on July 29th.

Is there any number you tried to call you and find out the status? If yes, could you please help us with the number?

Thank you ! I checked the IRCC website, it's approved and the card is mailed.
I checked the same few weeks back, and there was nothing, I was not able to even search her application/add with details.
Now, it's showing up with the status update.
It looks like until they make some decision, the status won't get added to the IRCC website.

Get to IRCC website, select option _ Link the current application in there.
It will ask for details like UID, Passport Number, and other details. Just provide those details in there
If a match is found in the system, it will prompt and say application is linked - if application is linked, then you can see the satus
If a match not found - if gives an error, saying there is no application found - which means, probably they might not have started looking at the file/application (just my assumption)

I applied to renew my pr card on August 14th, didn’t get it as of now. Pr card is expiring on September 22nd. I have flight on 26 this month. Can i travel with expired card?

You can travel outside Canada without one; you need the PR card to return. If you don't get it, you can apply for a PRTD or return via a land border (if you can travel through USA).

Hi all,

Some people have mentioned about "AOR" here. Does it mean "Acknowledgement of Receipt"? And, how do we get it? Through email? Reason I am asking is because there was no mention of any such thing like "AOR" in the official application guide on their website.

All I have to check the status is the "PR card portal" where it is still showing as "Submitted" (My submission date was Aug 28).

Also, some people have mentioned about "linking the application". Again, there was no mention of any such thing like "linking" in the official application guide on their website.

Can anyone tell me what this "linking" is, as in, what are we trying to link and is it mandatory?

Thanks.

Same thing happened with me. I didn’t get any AOR or can’t find application. But I called the number someone mentioned above. They will give you update on your application. Try to call them in the morning
