Received medical request for super visa even though upfront medical provided

I applied (IRCC portal) for my parents-in-law for a super visa on June 24, 2025. They have done upfront medical and added the E-medical UMI # within the application
On July 14th, they received a medical request on both of their application

- Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E)

Right away, I've contacted them through the web form and I asked if they really need to redo the medical. I provided the E-medical UMI # again and e-medical scanned document.

Is anyone on the same boat that you were requested for medical even though you provided upfront medical?

Today is July 16th. Two days since I submitted the webform. I haven't received anything other than some automated email.

They usually send responses in 5 business days that they uploaded documents to the file for officer to review.

All you need to do is send a webform to flag that they had already done the medical. It is likely just waiting to be reviewed by potentially IRCC medical staff.

Yes, I have already submitted the webform for each applicant (2), within an hour of receiving the medical request notice.

It's just that I feel anxious because the medical request states, "You have 30 days to complete the medical." While I wait for the webform responses, I keep counting down from 30 days, in case I end up needing to redo the medical.

Wouldn’t worry. Your parents did the medical and you responded within 30 days. This is not an unusual situation and why doing an upfront medical sometimes doesn’t save you time in the end.

People please limit the number of webforms you send. Send one and wait for the response.

Its still a bit in the grey area. I raised two webforms. One for father in law and one for mother in law.

I only received response of one webform ( father in law) they replied saying they have received the eMedical from designated Dr office and they do not require further documents as of now. They said they will contact if they do.

No response yet for my mother in law's webform.

When I login to IRCC portal. This is what I see.

To update everyone here. I received the passport request for both parents on September 3rd I was surprised to see that the super visa was processed in less than 2 months, even though the processing time indicated more than 100 business days.
