Hi everyone, I have a quick question and was hoping someone could help me out.

I recently realized that I forgot to pay the biometrics fee for my application. I had assumed the biometrics from my spouse’s study permit would be sufficient, but I was corrected when I received an email from IRCC on May 25. In that email, I was asked to resend my IMM5406e form and pay the biometrics fee. I completed both actions on the same day.

I’m now wondering—should I wait to receive the biometrics instruction letter from IRCC, or is it possible for me to go ahead and book a biometrics appointment without it?

Thanks in advance for your help!
Do you have the biometric instruction letter? if you don't, you will need to wait for one

Good luck all!!

My wife is pregnant and I am yet to receive AIP to apply for Ontario health insurance. Her tourist insurance doesn’t cover pregnancy prenatal or regular checkups. Not sure what can be done just to receive AIP.
I know it’s on luck basis but did you do anything different that you got AIP so fast?

Might be because I've lived here for a long time
