But they don’t. It depends on whether you are in a sanctuary school district and provincial policy. Many public schools have international students who pay tuition.

Permanent Residence status does not "Expire"! Only the cards do. Whether the card is current or not, and you are living within Canada, you are a permanent resident until CIC says otherwise. Go back and B****slap someone at the school!

Well sir..this a true scenario..it happened with me in 2019..and because of this we had to leave canada forever..I had come via border and we're allowed entry despite expired pr. Cards..but these ppl didn't allow my child admission..so we had no choice but leave canada
