Hello everyone, I have been spoiled from using the interview waivers in the last couple of years in Canada not having to worry about availability of an interview slot. But after the latest restrictions on the interview waiver categories, it seems interview is going to be the only option.

For folks who has used appointments in past within Canada as residents for US visa for H category, is it tough to find interview slots or is it gonna be manageable?

If the new rules have said that its going to be all interviews from now on for all H related visas then they should open up and be available enough of them to accomodate. My 2 cents, probably the transistion would take sometime and it will be the initial ones who are going to feel some delays!

Not sure governments are generally known for making adequate plans. Trump admin doesn’t have a great record of thinking about the downstream implications of their decisions so far. Also sure Miller’s goal is likely to reduce the number of foreign workers so making it harder and more difficult may be viewed as a good thing since some will either have to return home at least for a period of time or start looking for other opportunities.
