yes, you can give ircc a checklist but its optional.Hello!
I am working on the application for my PGP2025 invitation. I may be overthinking this! Did anyone include a cover letter? I dont have any items that need explaining but I am wondering if adding a cover letter with all the information listed again is helpul or not needed and I should just go ahead and submit as soon as possible? Thank you all in advance for sharing your wisdom and experience!!
Good day, no conver letter is needed, just a resume that has no gaps... ensure you mention the entire career history.Hello!

Thanks. It is for my mother who has been housewife/unemployed whole life so there is not much to add in the resume. Is there a particular way to mention this?Good day, no conver letter is needed, just a resume that has no gaps... ensure you mention the entire career history.
Do not over think. Just put down her as home maker/housewife and list common household duties.Thanks. It is for my mother who has been housewife/unemployed whole life so there is not much to add in the resume. Is there a particular way to mention this?
Doesnt matter what you include, IRCC will ask you extra documents if/when they need. Doing all that work upfront does not speed things up was my experience.Hello!

Sorry to hear about your dad. May God give you and your family the strength to bear this loss.Hi Kunal,
A quick question - Were you the authorised representative on the file when you asked to change principal applicant to your mother or did you submit that form after the fact? or was it your mom (dependent applicant) that informed the IRCC via Webform?
My dad passed away after Visa stamping but before traveling. He was the principal applicant. I need to inform IRCC about the change of status but am unsure if they will pick up the info. if I am not an authorised rep. and my mom is a dependent applicant.
Thank you very much for any asistance you can provide.
You cannot leave out the father in law in the application process. He can be include in non-accompanying. As long as the mother in law and father in law are married they all need the pass the medical exam, police and security check He doesn't need to land (no need to pay his landing fee) but everyone needs to pass the checks in the sponsorship application to get approval. He also needs to be included in the family size calculation.hi, we finally got invitation to apply immigration for my wife's parents after waiting for 5 years since 2020. I would like to know when can you link the application to GCkey from your experience? Also We are applying for my mother in law, her son and daughter, not my father in law due to his illness, I will be the cosigner with my wife. does not mean we put 5 as number of family when link application or 6? Thanks
Thanks for your reply, we put my mother in law as principle applicant, and checked my father in law as not accompanying to Canada due to his physical condition, we have provided all of his information in the application as well. You cannot leave out the father in law in the application process. I am not sure about the family member for "linking" but you won't be able to link until you get AOR of the application.
