When one applies without being compliant with the residency obligation, the timelines go out the window. So no-one can tell you.

The fact they requested more information is (IMO) actually a good sign, they're looking at substance (and she's also been in Canada and still is, probably with sufficient documentation to show it).

BUT: most of the waiting is being in a queue, with (probably) quite limited resources, and this actually requiring some work to check the submission (when officers are under pressure to do volume). The queue might take quite a while - or not.

It really is a VERY good example of why it's better to wait eg the extra four / five months before submitting the renewal app - in the end it's usually faster.
Thank you for ur response and guidance.

Agree but think we are still missing the whole picture. What were her H&C grounds for the PRTD, is she married to a Canadian if so she would have spent long periods not living with them or would have over 20 months, was she in Canada when she applied for the PR card in 2021 and for how long, had she ever settled in Canada until 2024 especially after receiving PR, if she was sponsored by her citizen or PR spouse did they both settle in Canada and did they leave together at some point, etc. Are there children and if Canadian how did they become Canadian.
