I am with my family here and still wating for 2 years . I got my Pro-E from Quebec and fonde a good job it is realy hard to relocate, i am completely stuck.

So there is not more than to wait.
You have your family with you, can keep together and support each other. See in that way and waiting will be less hard. Imagine this could be worse: you away, family separate and cant reunite. You are not really bad.
Good luck and hold little bit more.

Good afternoon,I applied for my PR from Ontario on February 2024 but I put Quebec address on my PR application and March 2024 after 15 days I move to Quebec and now I got my csq and residing in Quebec. But now I heard the bad news that only Quebec takes 45 months for PR and other provinces 28 months, it's very tremendous and traumatic situation after I heard, and no one informed me about that.So I am thinking if I move back to Ontario does it: 1.any problem for my PR? 2.reduce the PR processing time?

Please kindly advise me what is the best decision I can take at this difficult situation in my life.

Thank you everyone and seeking best counseling.

You can move back. Just notify to IRCC the new address and call them to double check the change is Made in the system.
Quebec has longer times and with the reducing of immigration quotas probably it Will increase.
Good luck. By the way I was i'm Quebec and moved to AB because I know about the QC longer processing times.

And did your move to AB does any change to your PR processing time? Like reducing waiting time?

There are many things to consider like your ability to find employment in Ontario, the higher cost of living, etc. especially given the current economy. Would not leave Quebec without secured employment in another province these days. Processing outside Quebec is also getting longer so would not count on 28 months processing.

Yes should take less time than in Quebec but you still may end up with longer processing than those who have always been outside Quebec. Given the very weak job market in Ontario and higher cost of living you need you need to ensure you are able to secure employment before moving or it doesn’t make sense to move. The job market is likely to get worse in Ontario not better in the next year if not much longer. If you have longterm employment at the moment in Canada I would be very reluctant to move and leave a job even if you will get faster processing. I would definitely not leave a job before securing another one and would be very concerned if employment is in certain sectors that are likely to face cuts.

Another thing,I am afraid if they begin the process from zero if I move to Ontario?
Is there any possibility?

It is somewhat unclear how applications that move are treated. Most of your processing seems to have been CSQ which is not needed for the rest of Canada so at a minimum the time spent processing CSQ will not count in terms of processing in the rest of Canada.

Every person has their own story. For me, a woman alone here it's hard but because of that it's easy to move. Person with family here maybe could be more cautious.
I tried to have a job before arrive to AB but it's really hard to find something if You are not in the place. I came unemployed and took three monts to find a job.
Maybe You or your partner can move first, explore and find a job and after that , move the other members of the family.
Consider everything it's a risk. Stay or not, move with a job or not. But when Make your decission just go on.
This is My personal opinion, yes, I think it could be faster than in QB. But if You have your family with You and You like QB maybe is not Bad to stay. People with family outside Qb it's different, Harder. If You are already together, trust me, it's not really Bad!

It's only me , and I could transfer to the same company anywhere in Canada.
