Traveling while application being finalized

The officer confirmed my application is ready to be finalized and updated my tracker to everything passed, as well as COPR number issued.
No P1 email as of Jul 26.

I have a trip planned between Sep 5 - 24.
I am expecting to receive a P1 email fairly soon, but there is no way that I can get a PR card before the trip.

If I reply that I will be traveling to the P1 email, what would the process look like? Would my landing just be delayed until I update them once I come back? Has anyone been in this situation and can share their timelines? What is the risk involved?

Some what depends on the timeline of P2 but you can notify IRCC of your travel plans when you receive P1 and request landing after you return.
