Hi,

Iam 48 years old. Iam no longer part of the express entry pool due to age. My total points for express entry eligibility is 63 (less than 67). I have completed my ECA & IELTS (CLB 9). What are my options to immigrate to Canada? Are there any programs that do not require a person like me who is out of express entry pool? If yes, can you please provide your guidance? Additionally, how much time, will that take? Thank You in advance.

If no longer eligible for Express Entry then really no option but learn French to CLB 7 but even then will you be eligible to submit a profile. Are you a medical professional?

Hello - Thanks for your quick reply. Iam ready to learn french. But when I did the math, even with CLB9 french, i will get 66 points only. Iam also not a medical professional. I work in IT Sector as a mainframe programmer. Thank you.

So Express Entry is not an option even with French. Look at other countries to immigrate to because Canada is not an option due to age and score. IT is not in demand with so many IT Canadians professionals out of work.
