We've now got the virtual ceremony invites, but I can't tell if we can attend the ceremony together, via the same device. Anyone know?

Yes you can. Just need to add seat nos as comma separated.

I have an in-person interview with the Scarborough office on 23 July. This is my timeline:

AOR: 4-Feb
Background: 21-Feb
Test done: 7-Mar
Language skills complete: 5-Jun
Physical presence & prohibitions pending

I applied with 1,096 days, so I am sure the interview is about that (interview email was "confirmation of documents). I have confirmed my travels with reports from the CBSA, and everything matches up, so no worries there. Was just wondering if anyone has had an interview recently, and if so how long till they heard back about their oath steps?

But I called them twise and they said your application in progress and within timeline of 10 month waiting.

I'm not sure if it's a typo, but if you just had background verification done on July 16, you aren't stuck. You literally just got an update on your application last week.
