PGWP withdrawal and reapplication

After submitting my withdraw request, a confirmation of receiving was sent, then 1 week later a withdraw submission was sent with last message of withdraw was approved. Then a day after the application status changed to Withdrawn.

What do you mean by this?

How long did complete process take after you got confirmation that a withdrawal note was added to file after webform?

@alundimer Did you work after submitting your second application or not?
Im in a similar position but afraid that IRCC might consider the work done on first application which was withdrawn to be unauthorized.

Some people say that once an application is withdrawn its as if it never existed so work done then would be unauthorized.

Hi, after submitting my second application (the open work permit for pgwp) I do believe that we can work fulltime with new employer (https://ircc.canada.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1181), so I worked full time with my current employer and changed to work with my employer next week, ( I received the WP-EXT exempt PGWP after 1 week of submitting the second one). I think I understand your concern, also be afraid that I am not eligible to work after withdraw my first application, but remember that you can apply the new one even while waiting for the first one to be withdrawn, as long as you apply a pgwp you are able to work according to the link I attached above. Tell me if you have further questions.
