My Temporary Resident Visa inside Canada has delayed

I applied my Temporary Resident Visa on June 11. Until today, I still don't get any approval. My travel date is next Tuesday!

I called up the IRCC last week, the agent told me that they are finishing the application and ask me to wait!

What should I do? I checked the processing time online, it is written 18 days.

It is so upsetting.

Change travel dates. You still need passport stamped after approval. Why book a ticket with approved and stamped TRV?

I first booked the tickets on Jul 8, I booked it last year because I never thought there would be so much hassles in my immigration status. I expected that I could get my PR but it did not happen on time and hence I have to renew my work permit and I started applying for the visa once I got my new work permit.
And everything screwed. Summer break is over very soon. I was planning to bring my kids back to my home country for summer break....

Not sure how old your kids are but my kids have only been out two weeks and don't go back until after Labour Day. That is 6 weeks away.

10 years old. I have other events planned in September. Literally I have no way to extend the holiday further.
I am curious how long further will it takes to stamp and delivery upon getting approval. I am now have no idea how long more should I delay my travelling date.

I think passport stamping is 8-10 days but other who have done it recently can tell you.

I applied on June 4th. Still no update. Were you able to call IRCC? How did you do that? I'd like to call too.

Since you are in Canada (thread is for those who applied in Canada) then call IRCC or raise a webform.

This is just normal processing.

Since you are in Canada (thread is for those who applied in Canada) then call IRCC or raise a webform.

My agent suggested me to post on Webform. I did try to call many times. The Visa section will have auto machine telling you that due to high volume of calls, they can't answer you, and ask you to call back again. I tried many times and still the same. I eventually call to under PR section, the agent told me that they are finishing it and asked me to wait. but they can't tell more information than what we can find from the portal, which is useless. My agent told me one of his client got the approval after 50 days. and got the stamping 8-10 days.
