Hi all,

I'm wondering if I can travel outside Canada for 10 days, after filling information and confirming I'm inside Canada in P1 and P2. I've read in different threads that waiting time between portal 2 and eCOPR is taking 1-2 months, so it would be enough time to come back and wait for my eCOPR in Canada. Is there any restriction to do this?

I do not want to let IRCC know about my travel plans in P1, because it creates delays in my process. Please share your thoughts on this topic.

Also, Will the date of my PR be the same as receiving the eCOPR or P2?

Thanks!

You are officially a PR when eCOPR is issued.

Hello how did you eventually manage this situation. I am currently in the same category although it is my spouse who has now traveled back home after p1 was received. I dont want to inform IRCC to minimize delays in p2. He can travel back to Canada immediately to complete the P2 process once the mail has been sent. Please let me know
