January 2025 - Outland Spousal Sponsorship

My partner applied family class outland and done all 4 criteria. But no email about next. Dose anyone know what’s going on?

Mar 10 Medical completed
Mar 21 Eligibility completed
Mar 22 Pre Arrival Invite
Apr 29 Background completed (Ghost update)

I can see the doc number in the checker but received nothing. The checker still says it's in progress.

Did you get your Passport Request? How many days did it take after BGC completed and COPR Number was given?

No, I did not get an email update. I also used the PR tracker and the only thing it said was "We sent you a message about your application" on the same date I received my PPR in my GC Key account, but there was no PPR on the Tracker. The PPR was only in my GC Key.

Thank for replying. We received our passport request today. 3 days after the background verification status was updated.

Did you get your Passport Request? How many days did it take after BGC completed and COPR Number was given?

CoPR number was available on PR trucker right away once BGC was done for us.
She didn’t get passport request. Maybe because she has study permit in Canada?? I’m not sure why.

My application has been marked completed and closed as of late May. I don't know how to link my updated timeline to this comment, but it is comment #57 on this thread.

Nov 2024 Applicant, Eligibility and background completed since May 29 on status tracker. But no update after this. Status still showing in progress. Does eligibility and background completed mean passed?

You’re in line for final review/decision. Then there is often a lag time between COPR online and receiving the PPR request or P1.

We were issued a PFL based of a misunderstanding relating to my wife's previous divorce(which happened a decade before our marriage) and we clarified the issue with further documentation in our PFL Response. And then the eligibility and background changed to Completed and nothing else after that. So that's why we've been anxiously waiting to hear some positive news.
