I am sending a letter of demand and giving them 30 days before I submit a writ of Mandamus. Where do I send the letter of demand, and do you have a sample?
I am exhausted of waiting almost 16 months so far for outland spouse's sponsorship ( 6months beyond processing time).

Anyway, just looking for an address to send the letter of demand and samples if available.

16 month processing time is very normal processing for some countries. 1 year processing was never guaranteed. You don’t have a strong case for mandamus only after 16 months of processing.

You might find this thread helpful. Make sure you are not in Quebec.

Thank you, I appreciate it.
When do you think is a good time? and where do I send the letter of demand?

The letter in demand is typically a legal warning before your lawyer files a writ of mandamus. What country is your spouse from? Are there any red flags when it comes to your application? For example how much in person time have you spent together, is there a significant age difference, etc. A brief overview of your profile would help. Any red flags when it comes to the profile of your spouse like military service? Have your ordered GCMS notes and what do they say? For example is an interview requested. Would only submit closer to 3 year mark. Assume you are not applying from Quebec.

Update on this:
I have sent a letter of demand by myself indicating that I will be going to a writ of Mandamus representing myself and my wife if the issue is not resolved. We requested an immediate attention and a max of 30 days to process our application.

They responded back in 2 weeks with PPR. Problem solved.

no red flags..... probably a lazy officer.
Now solved after a letter of demand.

How is application the same if you received PFL. PFLs are totally different (serious with possible 5 year ban) than spousal sponsorship delays. There are no timeline for PFLs and you cannot submit letter of demand telling IRCC that you want an answer to your PFL. You have only waited since March and response can take months or even years.

Hmmmm
Well i expected them to respond by now my eligibility is showing completed already.

Hmmmm
Application submitted since last year March?
Others also got pfl i received response quickly since i responded three months ago no update despite tracker showing eligibility completed.

@Kolex22 I am new to this process. What is PFL for? If something in your application needs addressed? Or major issues in the application?

PFL is a procedural fairness letter. It indicates a major concern / issue with the application.
