CSIS and CBSA notes for Background Check

Ordered CBSA notes some time ago and received them but it didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, namely a background check on one individual was taking a ridiculous length of time to complete. The CBSA agent was unable to provide any other information on this.

Only recently was this finally completed, and P1 arrived on April. 24th, 2025 followed by P2 on May 8th, 2025 and of course we are still waiting for the actual PR cards.

Original date of our application was August. 5th, 2022. This security/background check which was holding up our application being approved lasted for over one year.

Hello Everyone,

We have ordered notes for our family member whose citizenship application is in progress.

Background check is in progress. Criminality has passed, Security is in progress.

The security notes were erased before being sent to us.

Can we order CSIS and CBSA notes to track the progress? Would we be able to see the data or it will be erased the same way GCMS notes were?
