CIC made mistake assessing income for sponorship and sent ineligibility letter and then reassessed it and sent eligibility letter on Dec 27.

I find the application faster than expected. I sponsor my parents the process has been pretty smooth. There were issue with my parents resume and the history form , both time I emailed back and were processed quickly. Also had the issue to register my parents online to track process, thank you this forum I sorted it out (need to include sponsor in the applicant count!) so long story short , submitted Jun 14 2024, approved May 30 2025. What a long process. I regretted not submitting the application when I was drawn in 2018, tried the draw again in 2020 and viola took five more years. But finally made it. Submitting Passports for Parents Visa in Different Countries:
Hello, I am wondering if anyone has been in this sitaution. How do we submit passports for parents for their visa's if their application was filled together, but now they are in different countries. The Information letter has only the name of the principal applicant ont the top but it does states that we need to submit the dependent information as well. Should we include a letter of explanation stating why each parent is submitting their passport individually and from different countries?Thank you everyone for your input.
Yes people should be very happy that their applications are being processed much faster than expected. I don’t think people realize that a year is very fast for PGP.
Depends on what countries? Are either of them in Canada and who is the primary applicant?
None of the parents are in Canada. One of them in UAE and the other is in India. Primary Applicant is in UAE.
Hi Sahiut, my parents also came on super visa in Canada in April. We got passport request letter 2 weeks back and it said if parents in Canada, fill out a webform which I did but I have not got any response or acknowledgement from the visa office and its been 2 weeks now. How many days it took at your end to get a response? Did anything change on online application platform? Have you got PR cards for your parents? One of the question on the web form is "Is your application being processed by an office Outside Canada?" to which I said yes and choose New Delhi as visa office. But in the passport request letter we received says primary office: CPC Mississauga. Should I fill another form mentioning CPC Mississauga instead of New Delhi?
I am in the same situation, i received the passport submission letter on June 4th and had raised the webform the same day to inform IRCC that my mother is in canada with me on supervisa, i got the automated response back when i submitted the webform but usually after a couple of days they also send another acknowledgment via an agent, that one i have not received yet. in the passport submission letter they said to inform them within 5 days which i have done already so now waiting for acknowledgement from them. For me, for the question "Is your application being processed by an office Outside Canada?" i had indicated "No" in the webform as its CPC mississauga office.
