I am in the exact same boat as you. Applied Jan, Stuck in BG since September 10, probably comprehensive security check. Cant confirm since I didnt bother with GCMS notes. Havnt left Canada since 2017, no military or anything.

Thought I would just let you know so you dont feel isolated, stay strong <3

It might be because of your country of origin or maybe something in your educational or work background triggered it. When did PA pass eligibility?

I am personally convinced its country of origin (PAK) though I have nothing concrete to go on.

Eligibility was passed in March

Inclined to agree with you. Same country of origin for me, applied Jan 18 2024. Tracker shows updated every 4-5 days on the top right date field (without any changes). Last actual update was on Sep 3, 2024 with Background verification in-progress

Approval in principle letter (found eligible to apply for PR) received August 1 2024

No updates since.. 2 days after the 6 months mark of when i got my AIP, i saw a ghost update. Anyone with a similar case? I requested GCMS notes on the 29th of January 2025. Nothing yet

Experiencing the same, ghost updates every week or two weeks. The only actual change I saw was that my medical exam expiry was updated from March 2025 to May 2026 as well as an update in the activity tracker which marked medical exam as completed again with a date of May 22, 2025
