ICES Request

if ICES has to do something with presence mine was requested on 24 january and my physical presence marked completed on 2nd april but still awaiting prohibition to be marked completed. its for both presence or prohibition or only physical presence i have no idea .

My guess is that it is only for physical presence because in one of my GCMS notes, they forgot to redact the part where it said "ICES requested due to low physical presence days". Also when I searched the internet for ICES, I found out it is the name of CBSA database in which they hold information about everyone coming and going out of Canada.

oh thnx for your information. i was also having same thoughts about ICES. now for prohibition what they are waiting for nothing seems on gcms notes. only prohibition not started

I think is prohibition is related to any restriction imposed by IRCC on becoming citizen for example if you were caught lying to IRCC they can ban someone for applying for visa for 10 years or so...that's just an example and this is also my own opinion/gut feeling.

Someone may give us a better answer about what this prohibition is all about.

Finally, I am a step closer to becoming a citizen. I have been waiting sing 6th September 2023 after BG complete. Today the LPP got completed. IRCC requested ICES (my travel history) from CBSA on 03/01/2024 and almost exactly after four months, LPP got completed.

Any idea how long does it take to get the Oath Invitation from Scarborough as I am travelling early next month.

Hey anyone that has everything completed except physical presence? My prohibition got completed on 30th April but only physical presence is left?
Anybody in the same boat or can assist? I have requested my gcms so waiting if ICES report is requested or not by ircc!

Yes, GCMS notes gives you a good idea. I saw another his ICES was completed in exactly 4 months, same a me.
