Local Visa Office in Manila, Philippines

Hi all,

My study permit application has been stuck on "final decision" for four months, which ended up forcing me to defer my study permit to the next semester. I used this IRCC webform to try to communicate with the local visa office in Manila about this new change to my application. However, after having submitted four inquiries and waiting over two months, I still did not hear back from them. I'm not sure if it was my problem. One thing I noticed was that submitting inquiries to this local Visa office would never generate an automated email; it only showed me the message of successful submission. (In contrast, I always received an automatic reply with the inquiry receipt right after filling out a regular IRCC webform.) I told IRCC about this issue and hoped they could do something, but they insisted I fill out Manila's webform, refusing to help redirect my message to the responsible office, which is very frustrating.

Should I receive an automated email from the responsible office after completing the webform?

I have also tried to contact the embassy of Canada to the Philippines in Manila to seek help. Not hearing back from them, so far. I somehow hope that the fault is on my side so at least I can fix it...

I have been so sick worried about the study permit application since December. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thank you!

Mine is stuck since October 2023. I have used all those non-functional webforms and got nothing. Requested for gcms notes 1 month ago and still waiting
