"I respect myself too much to stay in Canada": Why so many new immigrants are leaving

My guess is:

1) Many seek citizenship just to get the passport and travel freely.
2) Job opportunities elsewhere in the US or Gulf countries are more and better (Depends on your job category).
3) High taxes here are killing dreams. I already pay 44%.
4) Other reasons I can't really mention here

Descending from settlers that came to this country in the late 1700’s. Reading these comments just confirms how much the Liberals have damaged this country in the last nine years .

there seems to be no cure... it seems to appear as #1 woke country in all possible way... sad... at least US has a chance of pulling its act together at some point, but i don't see any hope here... i don't see any common underlying & connecting factor which might help everyone come together... i see too many divisions and shortsightedness ... i think a serious soul searching is required to understand what is Canada and who are Canadians...
