Both background and prohibition completed on January 29, 2026. Oath invitation Citizenship ceremony was updated to in progress on February 6, and oath invitation by email was received on February 16. Tomorrow February 26 is my ceremony, Good luck everyone.- ZiadPal

I wouldn't recommend sending a new FPs before receiving a request. It may cause unnecessary confusion, plus your application moves from one office to another throughout the process. I sent my first FP to Vancouver office and the second FP to Sydney. You are close to be done, so be patient and...- ZiadPal

Yes, that was because your fingerprints were expired. Once they receive your new fingerprints background will turn green again- ZiadPal

I hear you. I applied 36 days earlier than you, with AOR November 1, 2023. My background and prohibition were finally completed on January 29, 2026 and I am scheduled for oath on February 26. Based on what I have seen, I think you will get some updates soon. I think later February or sometimes...- ZiadPal
