I deferred my admission from May 2014 to January 2015...the college sent me January 2015 offer letter via email only.... just wanted to know that Email version is acceptable??? will there be some problem to me at POE?

you don't need to notify cic..because your study permit is issued before June 01, 2014...so when you come back then apply for extend in study permit....
