Just received bio pages request yesterday. Finally! Though I just realized that my son's passport is about to expire so I need to renew it. They need the bio pages within 15 days but it may take a little longer to renew the passport. Is the 15 days a hard limit or can ask them for an extension?

elllham, yes. But I believe my application is taking longer than usual so I hope yours is processed faster.

I'm a July '14 applicant. I got MR back in March 2015 but no PPR after that. My medicals have expired already and just yesterday they responded to one of my inquires and asked me to do the medicals again. Not ideal, but I'm just glad they didn't ask for police clearance again

I feel you man. I applied in July 2014 and my medical exam will expire mid March so I'm going to have to retake that. I spent upwards of $15k USD overall (various fees, many plane tickets, months of unpaid leave, etc.). If they ask for new police clearance I'm not sure I can even afford that...

It's a lot of work and it's costly so I'll just wait and hope they don't request them again.

I didn't order GCMS (or was it CAIPS?) notes because it seems that the visa office itself is slow so no reason yet to think something is wrong with my file. I did submit a CSE 3 weeks ago though but haven't got a response yet.

I still haven't received a reply for my last email on 29th of November.

Thanks Loom, that's refreshing to hear. I'm in Iraq and I can get the police certificate from here relatively easy. It's the ones from UAE and Syria that were a major pain to acquire. As of next week, I have exactly two months until my medical test expires, so fingers crossed. Who am I kidding...

It's not the security clearance that's delaying our applications. I know my application has passed security clearance and is pending officer's review since October or possibly before that.

I think it's a good thing you didn't get the MR yet. Otherwise you'd be in my situation where the medical test will expire in a couple of months and I'll probably have to redo it (I'm a July '14 applicant). And who knows how long that step will further delay my application. When they finally...
