I finally got my file number today! File # :XX08 NOC: 2172 Application Sent to Alberta: 17th March 2009. Application Received: 18th March 2009.

I haven't gotten my File Number either. They received my application around the same date as yours. Anyone else still waiting for File #?

Exactly the same thing happened to me, except I didn't send any paystubs from the beggining, later they requested for them but the salary was different this time from the amount I put in the application forms. I sent them what they requested but I don't know either if they will say anything...

My application was received on the 19th of march, they are going through all those received around those dates. No i'm not a filipino? you mean because of my screen name? It's spanish, but I'm mexican though.

What they want you to send them is a notarized copy of the form I-797 Approval notice where your I-94 comes attached and a notarized copy of your H1B visa also. How come your consultant never told you about notarizing these documents? Good luck!

In the US the official places to take the TEF exam is normally the Alliance Francaise, check with your local one just to see if they do the TEF Exam!

They just acknowledged the receipt of that paystub a few minutes ago, they said they will add it to my file for processing. I emailed a copy of that paystub yesterday.

Your country of citizenship is where you were born unless you acquired the citizenship from any other country after you were born. Your country of residence is where you are living in this moment. In this case Canada will be your country of residence.

I actually didn't send any paystubs with my initial application, I was just hoping to see if they wouldn't ask for them but they did, we'll see what happens.

My application was actually received on the 18th and they gave me until April 30th to submit the requested paystub
