    Ray of hope - FSW - 1

Program specific draws weren’t a case for cec before pandemic began. I personally have chosen “difficult part of cec” because I wanted to immigrate to Canada 8 years ago. I thought Canada would give some preferences to graduates from Canadian schools with Canadian work experience. Well that...

Now you brought a really good point about some sort of inequality. If we consider Western Education System, a degree from university from this system would logically make more sense for western country like Canada, and logically a graduate from such a university has set of skills required for...

I specifically mentioned my own experience with education in home country and in Canada, supporting the point where there are many unknowns of how to calculate the equality. I never attempted to humble world’s education vs. Canadian. I don’t know who you are referring to when comparing 1 vs 3...

The word “equal” in terms of CEC and FSW rights for PR is seen here pretty often. How would you measure this? Have anybody from FSW stream thought that finishing a degree in Canadian university in 4 years is almost never the case statistically? I personally spent a year in one of the top...

Just a simple question then: What is the point of CEC program anyways? Why not just having all FSW with some extra points for those with Canadian education and work experience?

Well, it is being quantified by assigning CEC status to the applicant, right? The only problem is there should be a way to utilizing this CEC status. Again, I did not mean to offend anyone, just saying that CEC draw once in a while is something that would be great to have.

It is a matter of time. At this stage it is extra 6 months wait for PNP certificate or just a CEC draw that solves everything without extra wait time/paperwork

Basically people who eligible for CEC are those who settled, adjusted their lifestyles towards Canadian way of living, agreed to obey Canadian law etc., Outlanders.. Well I am an outlander too, just proven that I am capable of living in Canada. Why shouldn't I deserve a CEC draw once in...

If you carefully read what I've written, I have never asked to stop FSW draws. I only said that the CEC draws should exist.

It is not about being greedy or not, this is about common sense. Not talking about myself, but in general a person who spent several years in Canada has a Canadian credit history, most likely invested several tens of thousands CAD in Canadian economy and paid several thousands in federal and...

I have just submitted EE profile. Sitting at 468. After spending 7 years in Canada, doing bachelor's and having 1 year of experience. Bachelor's cost was about 60K only for tuition, not to mention that I had to work overnight campus jobs to support my living expenses. Of course CEC is a draw I...

Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Hey guys! My PGWP was approved and I received a paper copy of it. It is valid until August 2022. What is concerning: my passport valid only till December 2020. I have never heard that someone received a PGWP beyond passport validity. I am happy but at the same time, is there anything to worry about?
