Status changed on background check to under process ( which means its done ) for a few weeks now, but still no PPR or any other email. I applied more than 25 month ago and still waiting. Ridiculous.

No update at all. Nothing. My CIC account shows medicals done, but actually my medical expired a few month ago. I really hope I do not have to do it again.

July 14 inland applicant here... still waiting. Almost 24 month. Anyone else waiting, or I`m the last one? :)

I don`t remember the exact numbers, but we paid around $80 for each medicals.

What`s the point? Security status will say: In Progress, which we already know. So how does that help anyone? There is no way to find out how long security check will take.

I still don`t have any news from CIC, but planning ahead, so question: If I receive PPR or COPR, can I go to a CIC office without my spouse and do the landing process without her? I`m the main applicant and she is my spouse so we get the PR together, but maybe she won`t have time to come with...

Yes, but it was back in September or October, don`t think it had a location on it. Not my friend, and no, he is not a July applicant. He got it early February, after only 11 month so you can count back. This was a mistype from me: " I just heard of someone in my time who got his PR last week...

I have a similar timeline, but I`m July 14th applicant. Submitted PCC documents in 2016 July, security is being processed, but still no decision made. I`m passed 18 month, almost 19 and still don`t know how long to wait. I just heard of someone in my time who got his PR last week, after 11 month.

At least someone gets his PR. I`m still waiting, and waiting, and waiting...

Well, if you call CIC, than the agent can only see what`s in mycic as well, not much more, so... But I hope you are right and they are working on our case. I guess I cannot do too much, just keep on waiting.
