Yes. I was in the same situation. If CIC sends your passport close to the night, Canadapost will actually pick it up next day or even the day after. Also it takes about 2 to 3 hours to update your tracking number online for Canadapost.

I got my return tracker activated Aug 2nd. Still waiting the package to be delivered.

Good news! I just taked to IRCC and the agent confirmed that they sent out my passport yesterday. And then I talked to Canadapost and the agent told me that they did not receive anything for my tracking number. What a good news.

Also, @DAF644 and @leolea , if you guys are still reading this forum, would you please share your landing experience as well? Thank you in advance.

I wish I can receive it by tomorrow so that I can do my landing in the long weekend. But it seems like I still have to wait. During this PR process all we were doing is wait, wait and wait.
