    Does the e certificate get sent out right away after the oath ceremony or are there cases where they send it before. I am intending to make a trip to the States before August and am wondering how soon i can submit my passport application.

    UPDATE: Just got LPP updated to Complete on tracker. Update happened on July 10 but in the Activity History it says July 8. I am wondering how long now for an email for oath invite and how far out would the event be from the time of the invite email?

    LOL same here. All my web forms are with extra caution to not upset them but still get the disappointment across. Now I want to get on someone's nerve to the point they move my application so they don't have to read any more of my requests.

    Interview can be done virtually as well i wouldn't worry,unless they for some odd reason want to verify something in person.

    That is good news don't be alarmed. Usually, interview is good and clears up any questions they may have so they can complete the application. From what I seen after the interview, they wrap it up a lot faster as they have all the necessary information. Good luck

    Yikes 16 months that is absurd. What is holding your case up have you got in touch with IRCC what are they saying. I hope i hear somethign soon i don't want my case to fall out of the routine.

    I'm getting impatient myself. A friend of mine who was stuck on LPP for as long as us just got an interview to verify her LPP in a virtual interview. I wish I receive this interview at this point to have the application move forward if they can't confirm LPP by now.

    what is the wait time for B1/B2 renewal? I was going to submit a new application for the B1/B2 visa, but the next available interview appointment is Nov of 2026!. I am trying to stay hopefully I will hear something back on LPP before July as I have been waiting since March 4 "In progress"
