I've been away a few days. I can say I'm lucky and haven't suffered the 1 month+ waiting of passport at Ottawa like others. My portal changed to "approved" back on June 11 and my FedEx tracking activated on June 14. I paid for slow shipping so it's estimated back to me in the USA next week.

In this thread - and others like it - you'll see a lot of people applying from the US. You can do overnight FedEx or UPS shipping both ways (at a cost of $100-150+), and then you're in the hands of IRCC to handle it. From what I've read people are waiting on average 1-3 weeks for IRCC to do...
