They do accept expired IELTS only if you had applied for your immigration with it. So in my case, I have applied to immigration in 2014, so they do accept IELTS which was done between (2012-2014) but I have mistakenly submitted the 2008 one and that's why they did not accept it.

Well I don't have any experience in the student visa but I think as the above people said it should be approved because they wont be asking you to submit your passport if it was rejected already. Anyways, best of luck on your studies.

Hi ana-1970, I have submitted for the PRTD on the 21st of Aug and waiting for the email approval to submit my passport since I did not submit the passport with the application. Have you got your PRTD by now?

As I know the security checks is depending on case by case. I believe the most aspect which makes the security check to delay is the nationality of the applicant. However, you will not be having any power on this to make the decision faster. Hope you get it soon.
