Definitely let them know that you are now married, and send them a copy of the marriage certificate. I think it's a good sign that you haven't heard from them. Usually if they are going to reject you, they will do so quickly. Have you checked your ECAS status?? What does it say?

Hi guys, this may seem like a silly question. But I'm from Australia. I have never needed a visa to enter Canada before, and so I assume that makes me visa exempt. Is this correct? And as such, I guess I won't receive a passport request. Or am I wrong here. Please help :)

Oh well then that's fine! Go ahead and send your T4 for 2013 and your most recent paystub for 2014, and explain in the cover letter that you don't have your NOA. Then go and file your taxes ASAP so that you do have it when they request it (It won't be for months though, so you have time)

I am saying that the T4 is highly reccomended. Not that it is mandatory. You can apply without your T4 and NOA, as long as you provide supporting documents, and then send it when requested (or if requested, it was not requested in my case) I am giving them the best advice I can, based on...

If you don't have them, just explain why, and say you will send them when required. And the check list says 'Highly Recommended', not mandatory. Don't worry, JUST EXPLAIN IT AND SEND IT WHEN THEY ASK.
