It takes 30days or more. I also applied and it clocked 30days yesterday. No response yet, but my application changed as LPP was completed and oath ceremony scheduled. Situation varies on case by case basis.- WATCHTOWA

Prohibition was completed on September 4 and updated on September 6. The Oath Ceremony has not started yet. I’m hoping it will fall on September 23, which happens to be my birthday and also the same day I received my PR. Fingers crossed.- WATCHTOWA

Things are moving incredibly slowly now, no updates since May 23rd. In my opinion, completing the background check should typically pave the way for the LPP, but that hasn’t been the case for me. Nice one! Last update I got was on the 23rd of May when my background was completed. I guess my case worker has been on vacation since then, and hopefully not on maternity leave. I so much hate the waiting game, hard to take my mind off it.- WATCHTOWA

Congratulations! It seems like single applicants are being processed faster than family applicants. I’m not sure if it’s simply easier to slot individuals into unfilled time spaces, but it is what it is. Either way, I’m definitely looking forward to when mine comes through.- WATCHTOWA

If you and your spouse took the test at different times with a reasonable gap between, there’s a high chance the updates will also come at different times. In my case, my spouse and I have completed most steps around the same time, and we’ve consistently received updates together.- WATCHTOWA
