I would advise against transferring the funds after creating the gift deed. You should use a newly opened account only once 6 months have elapsed. Else, like you said, a red flag may be raised. The simpler(and quicker) thing to do would be to remove your mother as the secondary holder. This would make your existing account valid for POF.

That's what I thought! But not a peep since then :( It was by a case processing agent. R10 was verified by a program assistant sometime in the first week of November.

My AOR is Oct 8. I found out from my GCMS notes that Eligibility was set to "Met" on Nov 22. Still in IP1; God only knows what's taking them so long!
