No, unfortunately mine is still "not started", last updated June 2, 2022. But I'm hopeful now and really happy for you! Keep us posted about the progress!

38 Months?? Wow, that is just heartbreaking! I graduated from college in less time and they can't even review 1 file? This is mind-boggling..I feel sorry for you and hope you get the invite very soon.

Exactly the same situation. Filled out the form that MP's office sent, that was like a month ago. And nothing since..no answer, nothing. So, most likely waste of time

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

Hit the 25 month mark last week. Called them and was told that I should call back when 26 months are up. In the meantime, just wait for the oath invite. They said there is nothing wrong with my file and I'm in the queue. Just need to wait..

    Mississauga Citizenship Applicants

I received a generic email from them as well today. Here's what it said: We have received your email explanation for either requesting a new Citizenship Event or missing a Citizenship Event . Your application is in the queue to be scheduled. Once you have been scheduled, we will contact you by...

Congrats! My DM was also June 2nd, but no updates since. This gives me some hope

I actually have. His office sent a request to IRCC 2 weeks ago and I was told it usually takes 3 weeks. So, let's see what they come back with at the end of next week. Also, the guy at the MPs office told me that IRCC's new favorite justification to use for everything is the 27 month processing...

    Decision made

Totally random. I called them twice and they said nothing is wrong with my file and that it's just a matter of waiting for the oath invite. Everything else has been completed and decision made

    Decision made

But not Mississauga. They live on that crazy Interstellar planet where 1 hour is like 7 years...9 months between test and DM, now more than 2 months after DM and no oath date yet.. They probably still think it's 2020 there and they're doing amazing processing all these applications.

Mine is Mississauga. I believe it's the slowest office, but that's a subjective opinion

Nope, 2 months and counting since DM. There is no average, only pain and suffering :)

    July 2020 - Citizenship application

Congrats! On a side note, does anyone know of a similar email address for the Mississauga office? I need to get this oath done before the end of August, but they do not seem to be in any rush at all.
