    Throughout the process I used same photo printed again and again as per need. My photo was from June 2008. Even used it for landing. Point is that nobody gives a damn for date stamp if you look similar to the picture....i.e no big changes in appearance. Hope this helps - virgos

    Yes I provided Alberta address, I could have provided Toronto address - I asked and he said it's your wish what address you want your PR cards to be mailed to. I will be applying for SIN tomorrow....I will open Bank Acc. and apply for Health card when I move in Sep. - virgos

    I completed my Landing yesterday Via Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. No questions asked about landing outside province - absolutely none! Rest of landing process was very smooth, just normal questions: address, cash, goods to follow list & car title etc. Officer did not ask for photos. - virgos

    Jovan.... Thanks for the info. I should have scanned the forum earlier. I have the air tickets from Toronto to Calgary now. So will be traveling by road and landing at Detroit border. Does anybody see potential problems landing some place other than alberta. - virgos

    Guys, I got my PR visa in Jan. I am planning to land via Detroit Bridge in March, will drive from Indiana, It is 3.5 hr drive for me to border. 1) Is it OK to land outside alberta. ( Reason I am doing this is because I will use AVR on my way back to re-enter US, and by Air it is difficult)...

    VatoCA, These minor details differ consulate to consulate. Go with what they ask for on email/letter. NY asked me 4 photos & that's what I supplied. Looks like they asked you for 2 photos...... Good luck! - Virgos

    Congratulations jxyj01 !! FYI..... NY consulate does not accept in person submissions for permanent immigrant visas...... Your only choice is to mail documents.
