    Medicals - US/Can kids too?

Really? Yeah, it's really quite ambiguous because it states "all children, regardless if they're coming with"... So, thought I'd ask to be sure.

    Medicals - US/Can kids too?

For my husband's PR it states all his kids need to get medicals too, does this mean even the ones for which we are obtaining proof of Canadian citizenship? They are Canadian citizens, they still need to get medicals? This is expensive :-/

If you don't know the exact date...

On the forms, if you don't know the exact date, is it better to leave the "day" blank and just put the month and year, or would you put whatever day you "think" it might be?

    Confused about length of validity

Ok, what exactly is only valid for 1 year (length of validity of medicals)? I'm seeing that the PR visa cannot be extended beyond that, so you have to reapply. So confused.... Does this mean that after 1 year of being a permanent resident, you're no longer a permanent resident? Do you have to...

    Can/US children moving to Can

We are applying for Can PR from the US for my American husband so we can move to Can. My kids are deemed dual citizens but only have US birth certificate and passport. Do I need to apply for Can birth certificate for my kids before we move to Can, or can we take care of that once we're in Can?

Principal Applicant able to visit Canada after step 1?

I made a very similar post recently, but we're coming from the US, so things might be different, but I was told lots of people have done this without any issues. Again, they might've just meant from the US, I think you're coming in from overseas.

American waiting for Canadian PR - crossing border safely

Oh thank you guys sooo much! This is great news, and helps a lot! I was freaking out thinking I was going to have to move by myself with two little kids :-/ We're going into Ontario, and not Alberta, unfortunately, but that's really good to know!

American waiting for Canadian PR - crossing border safely

I'm a Canadian citizen married to an American and we're planning on applying for his Canadian PR from outland, but hoping to move up sooner than waiting the full processing time. Would he get hassled crossing the Canadian border with a trailer full of our stuff if we showed proof of the PR...
