    Police Certificate clarification

You have to provide a police certificate for any country you have lived in 6 months or more since you have turned 18. It is very misleading but it does need to be provided. We lived in Th UK for a year from 2018-2019 and we had to provide a police certificate from there as well.

    August 2021 Outland spousal Sponsorship.

It will depend on your visa office but from Pre Arrival letter to PPR it was about 2 weeks. My husbands office was Sydney Australia. The Background Verification did not change until they had sent his COPR back to him. So in total from Pre Arrival to everything completed and in his hand was 3-4...

    Writing on back of photos

It’s no problem, my husbands was stamped and took almost the whole photo, he just wrote his name right under it. They accepted it no problems, it’s not a photo with a guarantor needed it’s just for identification

    August 2021 Outland spousal Sponsorship.

Our office was unknown, however the passport request came from Sydney Australia. We do live in Australia so maybe that was the office. I’m sure you can contact them on the web form and ask. It’s difficult not knowing what is happening, I hope you get some answers.

they will send back a paper COPR to use at the border and your other photo that isn’t attached to the COPR and I think my husband got a letter or something giving him direction for when he gets to the border

What is The Best and Shortest Way to Sponsor my Wife Who is Not in Canada

It does state 12 months however it was just under 5 months for my husband. We live in Australia and are moving to Canada in June. August 2021 Outland spousal Sponsorship.

He got his DM when his medical was passed and he got PPR and then his COPR was in hand in under a month. However I think depending on how busy the visa office is and which visa office it can take longer or shorter. We had the Sydney Australia Visa Office.

My husband didn’t get a DM on GCKey until his COPR was issued. It stayed as in progress until then.

I think this differs from person to person and also depends which Visa Office etc. Ours was under a month from Medical exam pass to PPR to COPR.

There are 2 applicants your wife and her son, you aren’t an applicant because you are already a citizen. That wording confused us as well
