you need to do biometric again for PR ... even if you did it for Work permit. the progress bar is an estimate (pre-covid) which anticipate that the Express Entry application for PR will be finished within 6 month. But others got CoPR at 60% ... others waited for a year after 100%.

in canada there are no biometrics (Photo + Fingerprint) as Service Canada is closed, .... the fingerprinting is for RCMP
