Same here, I'm on 1177 day since I did submit my aplication and my security check is counting now 2,5 years. I'm sure that my case is just seating there collects dust and waiting to be pickup

I have been waiting for my background check to be completed for 29 months, and it is still ongoing. Overall, the entire process has now exceeded three years. And i dont have any hope that this will be done this year. What they are doing to people its just not fair.

I did multiple times to IRCC and to CBSA. From that I can see last update is review by CBSA on June 2025, and from MP I found out that is still on review.

Correct same sinking boat. I would rather like to get PR or not. Or just give me open work permit whit out restriction and out time limit or until they finished they process for PR so I can plan my life and see if all of this is worthwhile. I saw so many families are returning home after decade...
