Dear Scylla Thanx for your response. If they ask me to pick it up in person and at that time I am already outside of Canada then how do I reenter. Do I need to again apply for PRTD? And at that time will I be given a PRTD again?

If I travel to Canada with a PRTD and apply for the renewal of my PR Card. May I then exit Canada in case of an emergency before the card is reissued? In this situation will the reissued card be mailed to my given Canadian address or do I need to go in person to collect it?
