I just get married last week, do I have to update CIC during the exam next week?

I'm single and only got one question in the interview "are you working now?" So the agent may not ask you that question.

    August 2014 Citizenship Applications

My oath notice was mailed out on the second day after the test. The eCAS was last updated in Nov 2014, showing in process, no email, no update, and I did not bother myself to contact the call center. Actually I changed my mailing address the night before the test as no one at home for two...

    August 2014 Citizenship Applications

I signed it at home and dated as the day of oath. You have to sign it, as the officer asked you to queue and hold your pr card, notice letter, signed form and landing paper in that order, to be checked and enter the oath room.

I had my oath yesterday 830am, similar story. There were 98 new Canadian citizens "produced" in this ceremony. The seat number was already on your oath invitation letter, the right bottom of the ceremony location, that 3 digital no. I had no time to read before I queued and signed the form...

Can I change mailing address online through ecas ?

I changed the mailing address online via ecas, there are home address and mailing address if different for you to input, and also the effective date. After you confirm, tell you it will be done in 15 business days, but actually only took 2 or 3 days.

    Label documents in citizenship application

I used checklist and sticky labels in both PR and citizenship application. Tried to make things sorted out, clear. Just don't make it complex. Make things easier will helps, just imagine if you face a messy package, and a well organized package, the latter one will definitely make you in good...

Re: I received the pink letter this afternoon! Definitely! I was requested for fongerprintings which delayed me about two months. I suppose all people passed the test in this March are ver likely to take oath in April. Good luck to everyone!

Scarborough office / timeline after test

Same here! I never got an email from CIC, and only 3 lines on the eCAS ending with "We started to process ... on Oct 24 2014" and I replied the fingerprintings request and passed test, now waiting for oath letter. I don't think I can get any clue from call centre or onlne status.
