Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

80 calendar days is more like 11 and a half weeks. I became PR mid July and I'm still waiting for my PR card. Current processing time seems to be lower, 59 calendar days as of today according to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp.

    COPR - "Became P.R." missing

FYI, got a reply today, 16/09/2015, with an updated status verification which contains the missing info. The letter tells me to send in a new application for a permanent resident card will all the paperwork as well as my "old" PR card. I asked for urgent processing because BC health care...

    COPR - "Became P.R." missing

I got my COPR after flagpoling and the information is missing. I called CIC and they told me to send in a "Request to Amend Record of Landing, Confirmation of Permanent Residence or Valid Temporary Resident Documents (IMM 5218)"...

    COPR - "Became P.R." missing

Hi, while trying to extend my health insurance here in BC I realized that the two fields "Became P.R. at" and "Became P.R. on" on my COPR are empty. Has anyone else experiences this and was it a problem later on? Thanks for the info, Tobi

IEC applying for PR and Implied Status

Pretty sure you can give more weight to what CIC said :) But yeah, it can be frustrating. It would be nicer if it was clearly written down somewhere.

IEC applying for PR and Implied Status

Yea, everyone has an opinion I guess. I can only tell what my friend experienced. To be honest I don't really know how that "implied status" really works. I guess it's not that someone tells you that you are on it, right? You apply for an extension and by having an open application you are still...

IEC applying for PR and Implied Status

A friend of mine was in the following situation. She was on a working holiday visa. After the better part of that year instead of applying for a young professional visa she applied for a work permit extension because she thought you can't already be in Canada to apply for YP. According to her...

    passport and blank pages

I assume you haven't been invited to apply yet. Once you have been invited and you start your PR application you will upload your passport and all the other documents. It will clearly say what part pages of the passport to upload.

    passport and blank pages

The letter requesting the passport/copies of passport (visa exempt countries do not need to send the actual passport) clearly state that we are supposed to include blank pages. Just scan the whole thing if you are not sure. There is no way you can send them too many pages of your passport. All...

    passport and blank pages

I don't understand why everyone is questioning each other's answer. Different steps in the process have different rules. Yes, when uploading the passport for the PR application only pages with stamps, markings, etc need to be uploaded. PPR is a different story, here they explicitly say "all...

    PPR info - visa exempt

They specifically ask for "All pages" so I would actually even copy those without any markings just to be safe. Regarding photos, I can't give you any advice. We took new pictures mainly because we only had "passport" pictures, not "immigration" pictures. Apparently the format is different...
