First of all, don’t call me man! Secondly you don’t have to make it simpler, I understand the process I was answering a previous question and was explaining my experience. I don’t have a utility bill, credit card, card statement or drivers license.

No I have never rented a place so I have never had a lease agreement.

I tried they said CoPR is not proof of address as it was emailed to me and not mailed.

I applied online first and it was rejected as CoPR was not proof of address because it was not mailed to me, it was emailed.

But I don’t have any of those. Can’t even get a mobile phone without a sin number.

But to get a sin online you need proof of address but the CoPR does not count. They said in the office when I went to get sin number that CoPR needs bar codes.

But they state they should have bar codes on them but mine and I’m led to believe new ones don’t.

Hi, It is now well past the 92 days processing time since I applied for my first Permanent Residency card. I am also having problems using the emailed CoPR letter I received to get a bank account or start a job as it doesn’t have bar codes on it and they say they will only accept a PR card.

Been waiting since 30th November, just tried to call ircc, spent 5 minutes pressing different options to get through to talk to someone and it just says “there are no agents available to talk to anyone, you can hang up and try again later” then it just cuts you off!
