Do you mean application for permanent residence after the ITA or creation of express entry profile? Former on 1 Feb 2017, latter in November 2016. I got nominated by Ontario in Dec 2016

If you are from a country that does not need a visa to enter Canada then scan copy is enough. Check it on cic.gc.ca under FAQ

Thanks. I am checking how to get this done here. I have to visit the criminal court. Local visa office is vienna. Anyway, background check status has gone to "not Applicable". Does that mean after I send my current country PCC to them, things will move fast? Have you heard such a situation...

1-Show a screenshot of your CIC inbox to them proving that you didn't receive an email in the account. 2- write a polite email apologizing for not checking your spam folder and request for an extension saying that you will send them the passport asap. ..

Perhaps you can check the forum... I am not sure, I think passport number but better look around if US residents have to enter something else.

I suppose as long as they are less than 6 months old .. better take new ones if they are over 5 months to be on the safer side..

Did you also get an email or only in the cic inbox... ?
