@helpme1, you should get a good lawyer to put in a Federal Appeal. A very strong appeal takes time to conclude. That way you can buy time.

@annamanjk, congratulations on getting approval as a protected person. In my opinion, applying for PR as a protected person is the best option. That way, you are sure of your PR being approved for as long as there are no criminal or serious health issues. While for H&C, it’s a game of chance...

@annamanjk, If your RAD has been approved, the best is to withdraw the H&C and apply for PR directly. You cannot leave the know for unknown. Congratulations for a successful RAD. That is something great. Thumbs up to the lawyer.

You should update your file with the marriage certificate. Also send updates like pay stubs, proof of savings, volunteering, kids results and school activities if applicable. That was what my friend did when she got married to a PR. She got AIP last month. Wishing you best of luck.
