Friends, My application has been returned by CIC saying that I used an outdated form. Really annoyed at UPS now. Interested to know anybody else's experience whose application was also delayed by UPS, Purolator or Canada Post.

WOW, whats the pattern here. I am in the same shoes as OP. I raised a complaint and got a call back from UPS that they have spoken to CIC and it will be covered under the old laws. Unbelievable to me but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for your response...actually when I enter the date of when I will sign the application in the online residence calculator it says I am eligible even when I enter Monday's date - so it looks like I can sign on the 1095th day as well. Good advise on the steps too, we made the signature...

I am in BC as well. I spent most of my day completing application and calling all the courier companies and you are right - no body is offering over night service from here. I called Purolator again after I saw your message and they do have a same day department but not open today - I will call...

No, you should be fine. I came back just with a valid I-797 i.e I-94 (of course, my visa is also valid but in the past I have returned just on a valid I-94).
