Did you take your visit visa paper in with you? They punch a hole in it? You are a permanent resident now so the visitor visa is no longer effective.

We will have a landing appointment in the next 2 weeks. We will then only have to wait for PR card before travelling. We have DM on both sides. We are at the end. Basically we planned to submit childs papers right away as we were unaware we could apply accompanying on inland when child is outland.

Me slso, but i received letter that eligibility was passed today. It generically states to pay the RPRF fee if we have not done so already. Im doing that as soon as i get home from work.

Also, at this point, what difference would it make? PA is about to receive COPR. We could then start the process for our child. And if needed, PA could return to.home country to deal with any forms/bring child to Canada. If PA has not landed, PA cannot reenter Canada to do these things.

How may i do that? What procedure do i take?

COPR is just a piece of legal size paper with all your information on it including the fact you are a permanent resident and your intended address in Canada. Once you land, your ecas will change. I dont think it ever says anything about your landing letter.

The application was inland and the child is outland. It was our understanding that the child could not be accompanying as they are not in Canada. We have reached Decision made so i would assume too late to add the child now. We are ok with submitting an application now if we are able to. We need...

Does anyone know, how soon after becoming a permanent resident can PA sponsor their own dependent child?
