If they are calling back for the passport.. they simply need it.. It is your own passport but the visa they affixed on your passport is a property of the Canadian government. Best option is to follow their instructions.. otherwise you might end up losing most of your other options still...

Finally my case came to an end in Colombo with an approval :) They took Exactly one year and 6 months!!

Bundoora's case decision does not look like having an impact from the cessation of processing and return, As he mentioned, his application has been processed since he has done his meds paid his RPRF etc. The decision infact is due to an another reason.
